In this article, we will see how to configure Eclipse IDE for Scala. This tutorial is for people new to Scala.
JDK 8 (you may use JDK 6 onwards)
If you do not have JDK or Eclipse IDE installed, you can install it from below links :

Eclipse IDE(Install link :https://www.eclipse.org/downloads/)
Scala IDE Setup
Open the Eclipse editor and from Help menu, select “Install New Software”
Click on Add button to add new repository for Scala IDE
Add Scala IDE update site
You can use the latest update site from Scala site:
For this setup, we have used :
Select Scala IDE for Eclipse to download it
Restart Eclipse for the changes to take effect
If you get this message, that means you need to allocate more memory to Eclipse. Follow the instructions on screen for the same.
You should be ready now to create your Scala projects in Eclipse.
